Al Wittig

In 1969 Al Wittig added a 2nd bathroom to our house. It extended off of the master bedroom paralleling the kitchen addition to the other side of the house he’d done previously.

The total for the addition was $5,218.40. In 1955 we bought the whole house for $16,000.

Al was the nicest, and most talented contractor we’ve ever known. We’ve watched him single-handedly hoist a large header beam in the air and then drive a row of nails across it. Our family also visited and had dinner with his family.

If I remember correctly, we were introduced to him by Loli & Ray Ceniseroz.
